Victoria Roberts
PROPERTY CONSULTANT
Originally from the Southwest of England, I was born in Bristol and grew up in the Somerset countryside. My school days instilled in me a strong desire to help people, and from a young age, I wanted to be a lawyer. After gaining a law degree from the University of Reading, I travelled to Asia for an internship with a commercial law firm in Singapore, visiting Mumbai on the way. This experience broadened my perspective, sparking a lifelong love for travel, new horizons, and diverse cultures.
During my time at the College of Law in York, I discovered my passion for family law. This led me to practice as a solicitor in London at the niche family law firm, Sears Tooth, specialising in high net worth divorce cases and matters concerning children. Under the watchful eye of the infamous Raymond Tooth (known as “Jaws” for his tenacity), I learned the importance of always staying one step ahead in every case.
In time, the desire for a more balanced and creative life, away from the intensity of the court room, led me to a tenure on historic Savile Row and the world of bespoke men’s tailoring. I worked as a retail consultant for Richard James, a pioneer of the new bespoke movement, and later at Kilgour, founded in 1880 and known for dressing many elegant Hollywood icons. Working alongside such master craftsmen deepened my appreciation for excellence and honed my eye for detail, precision, and personalised service.
The transition into the realm of real estate felt like a natural progression. My unique blend of legal and luxury retail experience equips me with skills that translate perfectly – negotiation, problem-solving, and a discerning eye for detail and aesthetics. Honest, open communication and impeccable client care are paramount to me. I appreciate and understand the importance of guiding clients through every step of their property transaction and am committed to going the extra mile for them.
The French Riviera has been my second home for over 25 years, so relocating here in 2012 was an easy decision. Speaking both English and French, I have since built a strong local network and acquired extensive knowledge of the region. As a dedicated member of the Fine & Country team, I believe that by blending local expertise with the expansive global reach of our office network, we provide a truly exceptional service to our clients.
I live in the village of Montauroux in the hills behind Cannes with my husband and son. Outside of work, you’ll find me exploring the local countryside with friends and family. I love hiking in the mountains, treasure hunting in Provençale flea markets and would one day like to walk the Camino de Santiago.
